"Originally from Mexico, is the only species of the genus Agave that forms the trunk (short). Glaucous green leaves, no thorns on the edges.Greenish yellow flowers clustered in a dense inflorescence, wich can reach 3 m heigh, vertical grow in the beginning, after that grow downwards, very characteristic in this type of plant. It blooms in Spring and Summer but after flowering the foot dies.
